PRIMAX
telescopic formwork

Applications

A pioneering innovation in wall formwork

Reinforced concrete wall specifications have become more stringent in recent years. Self-compacting concrete, symmetrical tie points and joint patterns and fair-face concrete made with white Portland cement or with the very best finish (class SB 4) are just some of the buzzwords from the broad range of tough demands. To a large extent, the requirements placed on the concrete define the standards the formwork must meet. Now, for the first time, wall formwork is available which is specifically designed to meet these modern standards: PRIMAX telescopic formwork.

PRIMAX not only fulfils the requirements regarding flawless concrete surfaces and wet concrete pressures, but also economic aspects, and at the same time features unique height adjustment!

The telescoping principle conceived for building site conditions allows the frame of the panel to be extended to the exact wall height required and fitted with sheeting to suit, which is held in place with quick-action fixings.

Properties

Available in the following heights and widths

Panel heights:

Panel widths:

The PRIMAX Vari clip allows the level of the waling to be infinitely adjusted:

Examples of the telescopic function:

  • Height adjustment by way of a telescoping principle
  • High loadbearing capacity (80 kN/m² or 100 kN/m² depending on tie positions)
  • Minimal deflection (complies with DIN 18202, Line 7)*
  • Low number of ties (ideally 0.5 ties/m2 of finished wall surface)*
  • No restrictions on choice of sheeting – quick-action fixing allows easy changes
  • Sheeting attached from the rear – no marks on the concrete surface

* complies with fair-face concrete specifications
