In March 2024, the municipality of Leidersbach launched a major infrastructure project: the construction of a new, modern kindergarten. Covering around 320 square meters of wall space with heights of up to 3.60 meters and wall thicknesses between 20 and 30 centimeters, a facility was created that enables early childhood care of the highest standard. The renowned local construction company Marco Elter took responsibility for the construction project and opted for a special formwork system combination.
In order to meet the architect’s high requirements, including exposed concrete quality SB 3, a combination of our universal multi-module ultraMAX L and our manual formwork module aluMAX was chosen. The systems complement each other perfectly: while ultraMAX L offers maximum flexibility for wall formwork, aluMAX impresses with its ease of handling. Together, they ensure precision, efficiency, and an aesthetic result with a uniform joint pattern.
A key factor in the success of the project was the close cooperation between the construction company and us. The construction company’s team particularly appreciated the technical guidance provided by our sales representative, Mr. Siegler. According to them, he prepared the team optimally for the use of the wall formwork systems. The formwork modules proved to be simple and efficient to handle, and the provision of materials and processing went smoothly and saved time.
The site manager sums it up: “The uniform meter grid of the elements makes it easy to quickly calculate how much material is needed for a given area. In addition, handling is simple and efficient.” The result: up to 50% cost reduction and reliable adherence to the construction schedule.
In addition to quality and efficiency, sustainability also played a central role in this construction project. The combination of durable, innovative formwork systems and a well-thought-out construction concept underscores the fact that resource-efficient construction and high-quality results go hand in hand. For the municipality of Leidersbach, the new kindergarten not only means additional childcare places, but also a clear commitment to modern, sustainable educational infrastructure.
