BAUGEWERBE MAGAZINE: In the south of Germany in particular, Mayer Schaltechnik has its own representatives on building sites. However, in the east, Mayer Schaltechnik relies on Ledak GmbH from Schwarzenberg near the border with the Czech Republic. As the company’s representative in the east, Ledak is supplying building contractors in Saxony and Thuringia with formwork products from Mayer Schaltechnik. Sven-Ake Kühn set up a formwork business in Schwarzenberg back in 1997 so that formwork is only half the battle. Working together with Frank Leischker and Thomas Daniel, that became Ledak GmbH in 2011. Shortly afterwards, Ledak decided to specialise completely in Mayer products after this mid-size company from the mountains on the border with the Czech Republic realised the potential of those products. The range includes miniMAX, the telescopic system for supporting precast concrete slabs, FLUXX, the system for sealing joints in cavity walls, and ultraMAX L, the universal wall panel formwork.
