Ceiling formwork in residential construction, Marktredwitz

Efficient miniMAX aluminum beam system speeds up the “Haus am Platz” new construction project in Marktredwitz

In Marktredwitz, right on the traditional Porcelain Road, a forward-looking construction project is currently underway: the “Haus am Platz.” The three-story new building will comprise 13 attractive residential units and commercial space on the ground floor. The project is being realized by the renowned construction company Karl Roth from Wunsiedel, which has stood for quality and reliability in the Upper Franconian construction industry for decades. With almost 160 employees and a company history dating back to 1956, Karl Roth is also relying on innovative technology for this project to ensure efficient and economical residential construction.

The perfect system for forming a huge ceiling area

At the “Haus am Platz” construction site, around 500 to 600 square meters of ceiling area per floor need to be formed – an essential step for rapid construction progress. Traditional formwork systems quickly reach their limits here, as they require a high amount of material and labor. To save time and money, the construction company opted for an efficient ceiling system from Mayer Schaltechnik: the miniMAX aluminum beam system.

Our miniMAX ceiling formwork as an efficient solution

The tried-and-tested miniMAX aluminum formwork girders set new standards in ceiling formwork. Thanks to their sophisticated design, they impress with rapid formwork times, a massive reduction in the number of ceiling props required by up to 50 percent, and extremely easy handling. This significantly speeds up construction processes and makes them more economical at the same time.

Simple planning and quick assembly

Foreman Josef Burger from the Karl Roth construction company is enthusiastic: “I was particularly impressed by the well-thought-out grid for the supports on the miniMAX beams. This made it quick and easy to draw up a ceiling formwork plan by hand.” Assembly is also efficient: “The low weight of the beams enables construction site workers to work quickly, ergonomically, and without straining their bodies.”

Practical use on the construction site

In the “Haus am Platz” project, three additional floors with ceiling thicknesses between 22 and 28 centimeters are being formed in addition to the ground floor. The ceiling height on the ground floor is 4.08 meters with integrated beams, and 3.05 meters on the upper floors. Thanks to its combination of flexibility, stability, and user-friendliness, miniMAX is making a significant contribution to the smooth implementation of the construction project.

Focus on cost-effectiveness and occupational safety

In addition to significant time and material savings, miniMAX offers maximum occupational safety. The stable construction provides reliable support for all work steps, while the ergonomic handling reduces the strain on construction site personnel. Construction companies thus benefit from a system that perfectly combines efficiency and safety.

A glimpse into the future of the “Haus am Platz”

The construction project is scheduled for completion by February next year. The “Haus am Platz” will not only create attractive residential units, but also provide new impetus for urban development in Marktredwitz. The use of the miniMAX aluminum beam system impressively underscores how innovative formwork technology from Mayer Schaltechnik supports economical residential construction while ensuring greater quality, safety, and speed on the construction site.
