NordBau 2025 in Neumünster celebrated a special anniversary: the most important compact construction trade fair in Northern Europe opened its doors for the 70th time from September 10 to 14. With around 50,300 visitors and 701 exhibitors from 16 countries, the trade fair once again demonstrated its importance for the construction industry.
We at Mayer Schaltechnik were also represented this year – together with our long-standing trading partner, Friedrich Niemann GmbH from Kiel. At their stand, we presented our latest formwork systems and engaged in direct exchange with experts, customers, and interested parties from across the industry.
Central meeting place for the entire construction industry
NordBau is much more than just a trade fair. It is a place where construction companies, craftsmen, and industry experts come together. From private home builders to medium-sized companies to large corporations, visitors took advantage of the opportunity to learn about the latest construction innovations.
Virtually the entire construction industry was represented at the stand of our partner Niemann: carpenters, roofers, timber construction companies, gardeners, and landscapers. Some of them were already familiar with us and our systems, such as the FLUXX impact formwork system or the miniMAX aluminum beam system.
In addition to us, manufacturers such as Makita, Sennebogen, Manitou, Husqvarna, and Liebherr also showcased their products at our joint stand.
Focus on our innovation: the klappMAX ceiling formwork box
A highlight of our trade fair appearance was the presentation of our klappMAX ceiling formwork box—our latest formwork solution for ceilings. It enables quick and safe installation, which can be carried out by just one person. klappMAX thus offers a decisive advantage for construction companies working under pressure from a shortage of skilled workers and rising costs.
NordBau 2025: a resounding success for Mayer Schaltechnik
Our sales representative Rudolf Kraus sums it up: “Over the five days, we spoke to countless experts, met many familiar faces, and made new contacts at the same time. The response to our systems, especially klappMAX, was overwhelmingly positive.”
