A significant generational change marks the beginning of a new chapter in the success story of Mayer Schaltechnik: Marion Mayer-Sorgo is now taking over the management of our long-established family business based in Bergrheinfeld.
She is succeeding her father, Bernhard Mayer, who has built Mayer Schaltechnik into a recognized specialist for innovative formwork systems and practical formwork solutions over decades.

“I am filled with pride and gratitude to be continuing my father’s life’s work and at the same time setting new impulses for the future,” explains Marion Mayer-Sorgo.
She reports that the formwork industry is facing major challenges today: rising construction costs, the increasing shortage of skilled workers, and the opportunities offered by digitalization. “This is exactly where we want to start with our innovative strength, reliability, and clear customer focus,” she says. For Mayer Schaltechnik, this means preserving proven strengths while courageously breaking new ground.

Bernhard Mayer will continue to serve in an advisory capacity
The previous managing director, Bernhard Mayer, is stepping down from operational business but will remain with our company in an advisory capacity:

Marion Mayer-Sorgo is taking over as managing director. She has been responsible for marketing and sales for many years and has positioned our company as a future-oriented driver of innovation in the industry.
